Why do I need to verify my vehicle?

We take privacy and safety surrounding your personal data very seriously. To help ensure your order history is not accidentally accessed by someone else, we like to verify possession of the car onsite at one of our locations before we open this feature to your myQQ experience. Confirming each of the cars with you directly the first time you bring them in to get washed after signing up with myQQ provides you the best security possible, which is an important goal of ours.

How do I verify my vehicle?

To start, we need you to configure a four-digit PIN code. As this is meant to be a secret number known only to you, please do not share it with anyone including our cashiers on site. We plan on adding features in the future that will only be accessible via this PIN (such as being able to pay for vending or other services without having to use your payment card), so it is important that you keep it private.

You can set a PIN in one of two places:

Setting PIN Via Orders Screen:
  1. Open the menu
  2. Click Orders
  3. If you have not set a PIN, you should be immediately prompted to create a new PIN
  4. Input a four digit, numeric PIN
    • Note: Cannot be the same number. ex: 5555
    • Note: Cannot be sequential numbers. ex: 1234
  5. Re-enter the PIN to confirm the first entry
  6. Click Set PIN
Setting PIN Via Profile Screen:
  1. Open the menu
  2. Click Profile
  3. Click the edit button at bottom right
  4. Click Set PIN menu option
  5. You should see a screen to input your new PIN
  6. Input a four digit, numeric PIN
    • Note: Cannot be the same number. ex: 5555
    • Note: Cannot be sequential numbers. ex: 1234
  7. Re-enter the PIN to confirm the first entry
  8. Click Set PIN

When you visit a store with each of the cars on your myQQ account, you will be asked to input this PIN in to our point of sale system. You should only have to do this one time for each car unless you remove it from your profile and add it back in at a later date.

Oh no! I forgot my PIN. What do I do?

Don't worry. If you forget your PIN, you can always reset your PIN via the profile screen.

Resetting PIN Via Orders Screen:
  1. Open the menu
  2. Click Profile
  3. Click the edit button at bottom right
  4. Click Set PIN menu option
  5. You should see a screen to input your new PIN
  6. Input a four digit, numeric PIN
    • Note: Cannot be the same number. ex: 5555
    • Note: Cannot be sequential numbers. ex: 1234
  7. Re-enter the PIN to confirm the first entry
  8. Click Set PIN

Important

Do not share your PIN with anyone. No one at any of our stores or over the phone can change or update this for you. You must do it via our myQQ app.
